For my Self-Initiated Project for my 4th Year in University, I decided to create a marketing campaign based around the newly released Ocean's 8 film, staring famous actresses such as Sandra Bullock and Anne Hathaway. This campaign consisted of a trailer, animated opening sequence inspired by Saul Bass and Kuntzel & Deygas's famous 'Catch me if you Can' opening credit sequence. I also designed movie posters and alternative layouts that worked well with the overall theme.
I am a huge movie fan therefore with this newly released film, I decided to create a marketing campaign to help the promotion of the film. As the film (at the time of this project) had only released a short trailer and 1 poster officially, I was limited to the included footage and story concept, although managing to include various other clips.
